#dasukigate: EFCC On The Trail Of Two Fleeing PDP Chieftains

Abuja - The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is currently on the trail of two Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftains who may have fled the country because of their alleged involvement in the ongoing $2.1 billion arms probe, reports The Nation.

The two PDP chieftains are the former National Chairman of the party, Adamu Mu’azu and a former Principal Private Secretary to former President Goodluck Jonathan, Hassan Tukur.

The two are said to have been placed on the watch list over the alleged diversion of cash meant for arms into the 2015 election campaign and payment of huge ransom to unknown Boko Haram agents.

Muazu and Tukur have been under investigation in the last few months on the arms cash allegedly disbursed to them for campaign purposes
Muazu, who is currently in Asia, went incommunicado since his medical treatment and daughter’s graduation.

Tukur is believed to have been seen in the country by security agencies about three or four days ago.
